Reading Notes: Ramayana Part A
PDE Ramayana: Rama: Avatar of Vishnu. Source. Indian Myth and Legend by Donald A. Mackenzie (1913).
he was ready to help. Vishnu right away said ‘don’t worry, I will take care of Rakshasas that are causing trouble'. He choose to go as four parts, so he divided himself which I believe was a really good idea because he could be in 4 different places at the same time. Out of the four avatars of Vishnu, Rama was considered the most beautiful for everyone. He was pretty much the main one and one that his father was attached to the most because brahmin said that Rama had the traits of Lord Vishnu.
There are many ways I could retell the story but one way I think would be really nice is if I kept the Brave Rama the same, with the same characteristics and show him in the modern life. Putting him in the current life situations and seeing how he would help others, I think that would be really interesting and fun. The way Lord Vishnu has avatars such as Rama, Vishnu is the main person while Rama is the ‘undercover’. I would create a story like that where Rama would be working undercover and when someone needs help he would be there to help. I would make him similar to Spiderman where his talent and helpful powers, such as killing demons would be hidden. I would also make Rama the most loved in the community because he was always so kind and caring, no one knows who he really is because he will always have his face hidden in order for him to live a normal, average person life.
Rama will have the ability to help like Spiderman. Source.
